Instrumental supplement
In order to increase the usability of The Model of Practical Skill Performance as a tool in both data analysis and supervision, the categories of the original model have been developed even further. All memebers of RiNS were involved in this work during 2008-9. The definitions of the categories were refined and reworded, and descriptions of characteristics of quality performance were developed. The English version of this instrument was translated into Norwegian and Danish and back-translated into English. The RiNS group discussed and compared the variations in use of terms in the back-translated instrument with the original English version and reached consensus on three final versions of the instrumental supplement in English, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish.
The instrumental supplement can be used as a pedagogical tool in teaching, supervison, reflection and formative assessment. |
